Some garments need more than hemming, tapering, or a simple fit adjustment.
This consultation is for prom, evening, and special occasion clients who already have a dress but want to change the style, structure, or overall look of the garment.
Whether you want a more elevated design, better support, improved proportions, or a more intentional finished result, this appointment is where we evaluate what is possible and determine the best direction for the garment.
THIS CONSULTATION IS BEST FOR:

Adding or removing sleeves

Adding appliqués, lace, or embellishment

Reshaping or redesigning the bodice

Adjusting coverage, support, or structure

WHAT TO EXPECT
During your consultation, we will review the garment in person and discuss:

estimated pricing based on the scope of work
This appointment is intended to evaluate the garment before any work is approved.
PLEASE NOTE
Redesign work is different from standard alterations.
Projects involving style changes, structural changes, added embellishment, or restyling must be evaluated in person before pricing can be determined.
This service is not for basic hems, strap adjustments, or standard fit-only alterations.
If you only need fit-related changes to an existing garment, please book a Prom Alterations or Formal Alterations appointment instead.
INVESTMENT
A consultation appointment is required for all redesign projects.
Final pricing is determined after in-person evaluation and depends on:

whether materials are client-provided or sourced
Redesign, embellishment, and structural modifications are quoted separately from standard alterations.
