Rosalyn Womack is a full figure (or plus size) designer and the creative force behind the Honey Bun Boutique and Sewbu2ful. She started sewing from home while attending the Fashion Merchandising & Design Program at NC A&T State University. Her home sewn fashions quickly developed into a flourishing home based business aptly named Sew Bu2ful. Not one to shy away from hard work, Rosalyn began offering custom made clothing, alterations, and embroidery. Rosalyn's custom creations enabled women of all sizes and shape to feel so beautiful! Rosalyn's design label is "Beautifull.".
In May 2008 another part of her dream was brought to fruition; the Honey Bun Boutique opened its doors in Downtown Greensboro. Rosalyn has always had an affinity to design for the under served curvy full figured woman. The original plan was to run Sewbu2ful from the downtown shop. The location's ample space allowed another part of the dream to come to life. The Honeybun Boutique offers a convenient location for Sewbu2ful Designs while displaying full sized fashions for the beautifull plus size market.
But why stop there? In addition to her own designs, The Honeybun Boutique also carries some pieces from exclusive, hard to find fashion collections by Kiyonna, Igigi, & B&Lu & local jewelry designers. Rosalyn has created an atmosphere to perpetuate the true beauty of a woman. The vibe of the boutique is simple: Be you. Love you! No matter your size...you are welcome... and you are beautiful!
Rosalyn has a BS Fashion Merchandising & Design and a MAED in Elementary Education. She is a former teacher & the mother of two. She loves to give back to the community. As a single mom & former teen mother, she loves to work with teen moms & students with disabilities. She collects prom & evening dresses to donate to girls with special needs as well as any girl in need.
